"To You" by: Daniel Caesar Jaramillo

Hold me.
My mind wonders
to a darkness painful.
What will it conjure?
Blood?
Their screaming faces?
Their demon eyes?
Their holy places?
My sanity yells madly
while holding on just barely.

Hold me.
I can't feel the ground.
Your eyes look into me
to see me bloody
bound.
I look at you and smile.
It's all I have.
Stretching out
hoping for your hand.
Your mind is broken too,
but we both reach.

Touching.
Light thrown by me and you.
Darkness backs.
Their eyes,
hands,
minds,
scream.
And now I can see,
because my mind no longer wonders.
Because of you
I'm back to me.
Another song coming your way. This one was conceived while I was laying in bed thinking of someone...thinking of everything. Again, crits are always enjoyed, but I bruise...

That is just awesome. I usually can't stand romantic poetry but I really like this one...I have to admit though it's probably because of all the dark imagery :p (Lick)
